(MARCELLUS TOWNSHIP) – A Three Rivers man is behind bars after being arrested in connection with a burglary near Marcellus.
Cass County Sheriff Joseph Underwood says his department was called to investigate a burglary around 9:15 Saturday night on Pioneer Road in Marcellus Township.
The victims said they saw a suspicious vehicle outside of their residence. When they went to check on the vehicle, two subjects came out of the house and were confronted by the victims.
The suspects got into their vehicle, but one of the victims stood in front of it in an attempt to keep them from leaving. The suspects forcibly moved the victim out of the way with their vehicle and then drove off.
The victim did not sustain any major injuries and was also able to get a license plate number of the vehicle.
