(ANGOLA) - Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan was the guest speaker during Tuesday night's Steuben County Republican Party Lincoln Day Dinner at Glendarin Golf Club. During an interview before the dinner, Jordan said Republicans should not say they are against "the other guys" during this years campaign but they have to explain how they can make health care work and reform the tax code to stimulate the economy. Jordan went on to say that "freedom was under attack" by the Obama administration. While same sex marriage has become a hot topic in Michigan and Ohio in recent days, Jordan does not think it will be that big of an issue in his state come election time. Jordan is described as a fiscal conservative. His 4th Congressional district is considered to be one of the most Republican districts in the country.
