(ALBION) - Noble County Sheriffs Department Detective Joe Hutsell has been given the "Honorable Michael J. Kramer Protection Award" for service to the community. Hutsell is a 36-year veteran of law enforcement. He worked for the Cromwell and Ligonier Police Departments before joining the Noble County Sheriff's Department in 1997. Hutsell works on the Terry Hall program with Noble County Schools which is child abuse intervention and prevention program. He also coaches several youth sports teams at the Ligonier Sports and Rec Center and mentors students at West Noble Middle School.
