(HAMILTON) - New playground equipment is going in at Gnagy Park in Hamilton and volunteers are needed. Town officials and the Town of Hamilton Park Authority say they are in need of about 40 volunteers as construction is scheduled to run through the end of July. The playground equipment is being sold in a silent auction and removed. The pea gravel is also being removed in favor of wood fiber. The playground equipment is scheduled to be installed on May 17th with the ground cover being spread the next day. The new equipment is being made possible thanks to a grant from the Dekko Foundation. Those who want to volunteer can call the Hamilton Park Authority-Recreation Board at Hamilton Town Hall. The number is 488-3607.
