(CENTREVILLE) – Those who are looking for a job should not go away disappointed on Thursday.
Glen Oaks Community College is hosting their annual job fair, and according to Director of Communications and Marketing Val Juergens, there are 46 businesses that will be represented this year. Each of the businesses in attendance either have current openings or anticipate having openings soon.
Juergens says these positions could be full or part-time, permanent, temporary or even seasonal.
The event is made possible through a partnership between Glen Oaks, Michigan Works!, and the St. Joseph County Department of Human Services. DHS Community Resource Coordinator Jan Reed says this is a great opportunity for job seekers to connect with employers.
The event is free and open to the public. It will run from 10 AM to 1 PM in the Glen Oaks gymnasium.
Juergens says those who are planning to attend are encouraged to have updated resumes and references. Business casual attire is recommended.
