(BRANCH COUNTY) - A motorcyclist had to be flown out Saturday night after he was struck by a car on South Fremont Road near Middle Lake Road in Branch County. Michigan State Police at Coldwater did not release the names of anyone involved in the accident. They say the driver of the motorcycle was a 46-year-old man who suffered a compound fracture of his left leg when the 17-year-old driver of the car turned left into his path as the teen was trying to get into a driveway. Troopers say the motorcycle driver was not wearing a helmet. He was flown by AirCare to Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. The two occupants of the car were not injured.
