(INDIANAPOLIS) - For the first time since 2001, the Indiana Department of Local Government Finance says property tax bills in all 92 counties in the state have gone out on time. Property tax bills were mailed out last week. Since the normal due date of May 10th falls on a Saturday, the first installment will be due at your County Treasurer office by the close of business on Monday, May 12th. The second installment will be due on November 10th. With tax bills going out on time, the D.L.G.F. says local governments will not have to borrow money to continue operations while waiting for delayed revenue distributions.
