By: Jim Measel

(UNION TOWNSHIP) - A 16-year-old girl had to be flown out Sunday afternoon after her pickup truck crashed in Branch County's Union Township. The Branch County Sheriffs Department did not release the youngsters name. They say she was head south on South Road when she lost control on the gravel road. The vehicle then went off the road and rolled over in a field before coming to rest in a field. The youngster was flown to Bronson Hospital by Aircare after she was treated by Union City firefighters and Lifecare Ambulance. Union City Police also assisted the Sheriffs Department.
