(STURGIS TOWNSHIP) – A Three Rivers man received non life threatening injuries in a two vehicle collision Monday night.
The St. Joseph County Sheriff's Department says 24 year old Samantha Keesler of LaGrange was driving south on Shimmel Road at 10:20 PM Monday and stopped at the intersection of U.S. 12. As she started to cross the intersection, she struck an eastbound vehicle driven by 31 year old Christopher Reynier of Three Rivers.
During the collision, the driver's door of Reynier's vehicle came off and Reynier was ejected from his automobile.
Reynier was taken to Three Rivers Health for treatment of his injuries. Keesler was not injured in the collision.
Deputies were assisted by the Tri-Township Fire Department, Michigan State Police and Life Care Ambulance.
