(WATERLOO) - A semi fire on northbound I-69 at the 337 mile marker in DeKalb County messed up the Friday morning commute. It forced the shutdown of the northbound lanes of the interstate between Waterloo and Ashley. While southbound traffic was not affected, northbound traffic had to be exited three miles south of the fire at U.S. 6. The fire was reported at about 7:25am. Both lanes of the interstate reopened about two-and-a-half hours later.
