(ANGOLA) - An Angola man was given a 15 year sentence on Monday in Steuben Superior Court after he entered a guilty plea to a Class B felony of Dealing in Methamphetamine. 36-year-old Adam Mark Gonser was originally charged with seven counts when he was arrested in May of 2013. In exchange for his guilty plea, prosecutors dismissed the six other charges in the case. Three years of the sentence was suspended and Gonser was also put on probation for three years. He was given credit for 397 days already served and the same amount of days for good time credit. Gonser was one of two suspects arrested at a home on 300 North near State Road 827 when the Steuben County Sheriffs Department tried to serve a warrant there and saw alleged items associated with the making of meth. The Sheriffs Department said at the time of the arrests that they also found over five grams of purported meth and marijuana.
