(STURGIS) – Sturgis Hospital has entered into a new partnership that will have an organization manage its Emergency Room.
The new agreement with Emergency Physicians Medical Group or EPMG went into effect on Sunday.
EPMG is a physician owned practice that has been creating a culture of care for patients since 1976. They have established an impressive reputation for providing exceptional emergency care and leadership in seven states through effective integration not only within hospitals, but also the communities in which they serve.
Bryan Staffin, EPMG Regional Vice President says they are privileged to provide the highest quality emergency care to the citizens of Sturgis and the surrounding communities. Staffin says EPMG providers are committed to delivering clinical safety and excellence, optimizing operations and enhancing the patient experience.
CEO Rob LaBarge says Sturgis Hospital is looking forward to this transition and collaborating with EPMG providers to effectively serve the emergency healthcare needs of our community. He says it's very important to Sturgis Hospital that their patients are satisfied with all aspects of their care.
