One organization is offering some classes to help parents out with their child or children.
The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency would like to extend to the public the opportunity to learn some practical solutions to the everyday challenges of parenting their young children through two classes: 1,2,3 Magic and Love and Logic.
During 1,2,3 Magic, parents will meet once a week for two weeks, starting on July 16. Parents will learn how to handle misbehavior, put a stop to wrong behavior and how to encourage good behavior. You must attend both sessions in order to complete the series.
In the Love And Logic class, parents will meet once a week for five weeks, starting July 24. Topics will include how to raise responsible kids and how to let empathy and consequences do the teaching.
To register or to get more information, you can contact the CHA offices in Hillsdale at 517-437-7395, extension 112.
