(COLDWATER TOWNSHIP) - A 25-year-old man from Columbus, Ohio was arrested Thursday morning by Michigan State Police Troopers after a traffic stop on I-69 in Coldwater Township turned into the discovery of over 800 pseudoephedrine tablets that were to be used in the making of methamphetamine. State Police say they stopped the motorist at about 7:40am. During an interview, troopers say the man admitted to being involved in a large purchasing ring for the pills in Ohio and they were being taken to an unknown location in Michigan. The suspect was booked at the Branch County Jail on charges of possession of over 12 grams of ephedrine and conspiracy to manufacture meth. State Police say their investigation is continuing.
