Local CO wins national award

LAGRANGE - A conservation officer assigned to LaGrange County received a national award.
Officer Jacob Carlile received the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators “Boating Officer of the Year” award.
Carlile logged hundreds of hours of boating patrols during 2013 in making lakes and rivers around LaGrange County safer for the boating public.
He’s also responsible for educating hundreds of students in the Boater Education Program.
