(BUTLER) - A Butler woman was flown out early Sunday morning after her 1999 Chevy Prizm crashed into a utility pole in DeKalb County. The DeKalb County Sheriffs Department says the crash happened just before 2:00am in the 2300 block of County Road 61 when 25-year-old Hannah Bercot lost control of her vehicle after the passenger tires went off the side of the road. The car eventually went off the road and hit the utility pole on the drivers side. Police say Bercot was not wearing a seat belt. She was airlifted to Parkview Regional Medical Center where at last report she was listed in critical condition. Police say speed was among the factors in the crash. Assisting the Sheriffs Department were Butler Police, the Waterloo Marshal's Office, Butler firefighters and DeKalb County E.M.S..
