(BRONSON) – It's official, Bronson Schools has a new Superintendent.
During a special meeting this week, the Bronson School Board voted to officially hire Teresa Belote as their Superintendent. She will take over for Jim Modert, who has been the Bronson Superintendent for 4 years, announced in January he would be retiring at the end of the 2013-2014 school year.
Belote, who had been the principal at both Congress and Wenzel Schools in Sturgis, told the Board she would like to help who ever is hired to take her place in Sturgis to transition into the job. She also said she wants to meet with Modert before he officially leaves office.
The Board agreed to allow Belote some flexibility in her schedule.
