MIDDLEBURY - A former teacher at Northridge High School filed a complaint that he was fired because he’s an atheist.
29-year-old Kevin Pack taught German at the Middlebury school before being fired. He’s filed a complaint with the Equal employment Opportunity Commission claiming religious discrimination.
The Goshen News obtained Pack’s performance reviews which indicated several issues.
Pack claims he was fired over an email he sent to other faculty indicating he was an atheist and complaining about religious references during the year by Principal Gerald Rasler.
School district officials are not commenting about the complaint.
