(UNDATED) - With school now out for the summer, Drug Free Steuben is asking parents to be aware of their teenagers activities and keep them away from alcohol and drugs. Drug Free Steuben says the rate of youngsters using alcohol for the first time doubles in the months of June and July largely due to unsupervised hours. Parents are being asked to be involved in their teens daily activities, be a good role model, keep their youngsters busy with proactive activities and monitor the alcohol and prescription drugs in the home.
