INDOT Says West Maumee Shutdown For RR Work Starts Monday

(ANGOLA) - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) officially announced on Wednesday that U.S. 20 between North Kinney and Jackson streets in Angola is scheduled to close Monday morning at 7:00am as Indiana Northeast Railroad and A.P.I. Landrail rebuilds their railroad crossing. The official detour for this closure is from McKinley Street to Mill Street to North Wayne Street or State Road 127. According to an INDOT news release, the work will improve the driving surface for motorists. It is expected to be complete by the evening of Friday, June 27th, weather permitting. INDOT reminds drivers to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through a construction zone.
