CLEARSPRING TOWNSHIP - A one-car crash south of LaGrange sent two teens to the hospital Friday afternoon.
17-year-old David Yoder of rural Topeka and 18-year-old Jasmine Watt of New Paris were airlifted to a Fort Wayne hospital following the crash on County Road 75 West. Yoder suffered a broken arm. Watt suffered multiple injuries.
The LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department says Yoder was driving north near 5750 South at high speed when the vehicle crossed a small bridge and went airborne. Yoder lost control and struck a tree on the west side of the road.
Wolcottville Police along with Johnson Township and Topeka firefighters and Parkview medics assisted deputies at the scene.
