Two Twisters, Two Deaths Reported From Tuesday Storms

(UNDATED) - The fast moving severe thunderstorm that went through northeast Indiana during the wee hours of Tuesday morning led to two small tornados and the deaths of two persons. The National Weather Service says an EF-1 tornado slammed LaGrange with estimated winds of 95 miles an hour. In addition, an extensive microbust was noted across southern LaGrange south of U.S. 20 with winds of 85 miles an hour.
A second small tornado measured at EF-0 was reported west of Milford in Kosciusko County.
64-year-old Larry Davisson of Big Long Lake in LaGrange County was killed when a tree fell on his home at 9794 East County Road 520 South. Stroh firefighters found him dead beneath the tree inside of the house.
A 14-year-old boy was killed at Winona Lake when a tree crashed into a mobile home.
