(CENTREVILLE) – After a two day break, the Andy Brown trial continued Wednesday in St. Joseph County Circuit Court.

No testimony was planned for Monday while Tuesday's session was canceled due to the storms that moved through the area and knocked out power to the St. Joseph County Courthouse. Brown is charged with first degree murder in the October 2, 2013 shooting death of David Locey.

The first three witnesses all testified that they saw Brown at either his parent's house just east of Sturgis or at his father's business in downtown Sturgis between 7:20 and 7:50 AM on October 2.

Lee Younkman, a Coldwater businessman, testified that Brown had been his accountant and friend since 2006. The two were also part of a business group that met every Wednesday morning in Coldwater.

Younkman says shortly before Locey's death, he had a conversation with Brown about purchasing bullets. ...... {LISTEN}.

He says Brown told him he wanted to buy the bullets for his brother.

Younkman also testified that he had some issues with Brown's accounting methods but gave Brown the benefit of the doubt, until he was contacted by the IRS over some financial matters.

Dr. Stephen Cohle also testified. He was the pathologist that performed the autopsy on Locey. Cohle says there were three bullet wounds on Locey; one to the top of the head and two in the front. Cohle says the slugs came from a medium caliber handgun, and that Locey's death was not a suicide.

Testimony is set to continue Thursday morning.
