(FREMONT) - Fremont's Music Fest hits the age of 20 this weekend. The theme for Saturday's parade is "Blast from the Past-Reflections of 20 Years of Music Fest". The parade starts at 11:00am and will follow the same route as in past years. John DeMarco is this years Grand Marshall while the Junior Grand Marshalls are Fremont High School athletes.
The Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce is once again sponsoring Music Fest.
Activities start Friday with a car show at the Fremont United Methodist Church, a spaghetti dinner at the church, a hog roast hosted by Boys Scout Troop 186 and a performance by The Bulldogs.
Besides the parade on Saturday, there will be a pancake and sausage breakfast at the Fire Department and a Corn Hole tournament named in honor of Ken Penick. The music starts at 12noon following the parade which includes performances by the Simon Peter Band, Cadillac Ranch and Sierra Shame.
Music Fest will be capped off Saturday night with a fireworks show at the Fremont Moose Lodge.
