LAGRANGE - A traffic stop near LaGrange Monday evening sent a Kendallville man to jail on drug charges.
LaGrange Police Officer Nicholas Dubea stopped a car on U-S 20 at County Road 200 East for a traffic infraction. During the stop he saw items used to make methamphetamine inside the vehicle. That led to a search of the vehicle that turned up methamphetamine and precursors, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Rick D. Williams II, 31, of Kendallville was jailed on preliminary charges of possession of meth, precursorsor, marijuana and paraphernalia along with maintaining a common nuisance.
LaGrange County Sheriff’s deputies assisted in the investigation.
