(ANGOLA) - Before the storms rolled through on Tuesday afternoon, participants in the Old U.S. 27 tour made a stop in Angola. Numerous classic cars were parked in the Carnegie Library parking lot.
Organizer Craig Parrish said they were expecting to have between 600 and 700 cars taking part in at least part of the tour this year. He estimated between 50 and 60 cars left Auburn Tuesday morning when the tour started but he expects those numbers will go up as the week goes on.
After leaving Angola, the tour headed to Coldwater. It will continue to head north along Old 27 all the way up to Cheboygan before it ends on Sunday.
