Bronson baseball wins Leslie Invitational
(LESLIE) – The Bronson baseball team won the Leslie Invitational for the second straight year. The Vikings beat Lainsburg 4-1 and then host Leslie in the championship 4-2. Ryan Hagen was the winning pitcher in game one, giving up 2 hits and a run while striking out 7. He also drove in 2 runs. Daniel McMichael was the winning pitcher in the championship game, giving up 7 hits and 2 runs while striking out 9. Bronson is now 10-4 on the season.
Mendon baseball wins Darmofal Invitational
(COLON) – Mendon's baseball team won the annual Colon Darmofal Invitational, by beating Union City 4-2 and then host Colon in the finals 13-1. Colon got to the title game with a 7-2 win over Pittsford.
Centreville splits DH with Cassopolis
(UNDATED) – The Centreville baseball team split a non conference double-header with Cassopolis. Centreville lost the first game 9-5 but won the second game 10-3. Brady Reynolds, Koal Roach, Jalen Brown and Coletin Gascho each had 2 RBI's on the day for the Bulldogs.
Coldwater sweeps #2 Bay City John Glenn
(COLDWATER) – Coldwater notched a pair of baseball wins over the #2 team in Class B Bay City John Glenn. The Cardinals won 5-4 and 6-1, putting their record at 14-7 on the season.
Fairfield tops Westview 6-4 in NECC Tournament Championship
(ANGOLA) – A three run second inning helped Fairfield beat Westview 6-4 in the championship game of the NECC Tournament. Westview jumped out to an early lead but the Falcons came back to claim the lead and the victory. Westview is now 8-3 on the season.
