Area girls track teams to well at invitationals

Bronson girls track fifth, WP seventh at Quincy Invitational
(QUINCY) – The Bronson girls track team finished fifth at the Quincy Invitational. Union City was third, host Quincy fourth and White Pigeon was seventh. Bronson's Mariah Roberts was first in the 100 meters and was part of the winning 400 meter relay. Union City's Katie Birch was first in the 800 meters and was part of the winning 3200 meter relay.
Area girls teams do well at Centreville Invitational
(CENTREVILLE) – Area girls track teams held down several of the top spots at the Centreville Invitational. Constantine and Mendon tied for first place on the day. Host Centreville was fourth and Colon fifth. Constantine's Zoe Jones was first in the 800 meters and was part of the winning 3200 meter relay team. Grace Leighton of Mendon was first in the 100 and 300 hurdles an was also part of the winning 1600 meter relay team. Colon's Tally Wilson was the champion in the pole vault and the high jump.
