Union City tops Quincy for baseball District title
(CONSTANTINE) – The Union City baseball team picked up a Division 3 District title by beating host Constantine 8-2 in the semi-finals and then Quincy 11-6 in the title game. Quincy knocked off Bronson 10-0 in their semi-final contest. Bronson ends their season at 18-14. Hunter Johns was the winning pitcher against Constantine and then won the game in relief against Quincy. Cody Cable drove in four runs for the Chargers, who advance to the Bronson Regional and will face Decatur.
