Mendon's Trenary Inducted In Coaches' Hall Of Fame

(MENDON) – A St. Joseph County coach is going to receive a state honor. Mendon volleyball coach Kathy Trenary will be inducted into the Michigan Interscholastic Volleyball Coaches Association Coaches Hall Of Fame during a ceremony today in Battle Creek. During her 19 year as coach at Mendon, Trenary has compiled a record of 721-298-155. Her 2013 team made it to the Class C state semifinals and an overall record of 48-8-2. Trenary has been coaching for 31 years, including stops in Vicksburg and Colon, and has an overal lcareer record of 902 wins, 426 losses and 116 ties. She was named the Michigan Volleyball Coach of the Year by the National Federation of High School Athletic Associations.
