(CHICAGO) - The Chicago Bulls are in the mix for Minnesota Timberwolves bigman Kevin Love and have made an offer to acquire the All-Star, according to a report Wednesday. On his website, Chris Sheridan details the pieces involved in the Bulls' offer for Love: Taj Gibson, Doug McDermott and Nikola Mirotic. Gibson is a 29 year old power forward coming off a season in which he averaged 13 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. McDermott, the prolific shooter from Creighton, was selected by the Denver Nuggets with the 11th overall pick in the NBA Draft, then traded to Chicago. Mirotic was drafted by the Rockets with the 23rd pick in the first round in 2011 but, along with McDermott, just signed a rookie contract Tuesday. Players cannot be traded until 30 days following the inking of their rookie deals.
