White Pigeon falls short in season opener
(WHITE PIGEON) – White Pigeon scored first and then played catch up, falling just short as they lost to Union City 20-19 in their first game of the season. Dylan Hochstetler was 9 of 23 for 179 yards with a pair of TD's and an interception for the Chiefs. He also rushed 7 times for 12 yards and a score. Mike Crowl had 3 receptions for 91 yards and a score and Donovan Gremore had 10 tackles on defense for the Chiefs.

Mendon beats Centreville 45-12
(MENDON) – Mendon topped Centreville 45-12 in football action, but Centreville played tougher than the score indicated. The Bulldogs never backed down and were able to force five Mendon turnovers. Elijah Klepper rushed for 139 yards and 2 scores on just 9 carries. Jordan Medich also had 2 TD's and 36 yards on six carries. Demarco Taylor had 153 all purpose yards for the Bulldogs in the loss.
